Last Wednesday at 1am Cooper became very sick vomiting over and over until about 230am. He went to sleep for a short period of time then Mal woke up and became sick also. Basically it was a tag team effort on their part for the rest of the morning. Mike stayed with the kids while I went to work until 1:00 in the afternoon. When I got home Mal seemed great while poor little Cooper was not so good. Finally after not peeing since 6:00 am we were told by the doctor to come in to see them. We got there during a horrible storm and the power went out which was interesting for the staff at Blackmon Pediatrics. We were eventually sent to Children's Hospital for the night so that Cooper could get some IV fluids. My Dad went with us so that Mike could stay with Mal so that we didn't leave her sick. My Dad was such a help at the hospital. He cuddled little Cooper who was basically out of it. My Dad and I both had a difficult time dealing with the whole IV thing which was pretty traumatic for Cooper. It broke my heart to see my little boy sick. It is always hard to see your children suffering. Luckily for us after going through Rotto with Mal in the hospital for 4 days, I caught Coopers early signs of dehydration. We came home late Thursday night and as of today Cooper is still having issues with the virus and now has a respiratory thing. The staff at Childrens were great to us while there and Iam very thankful for that. Also Dr. Abby and Dr. Greg were super kind to us. We were not the only one visiting Childrens this week Kate and Brooks also were awful sick too. Hopefully all the nasty viruses will leave our babies alone for awhile.

We hope your little cutie is back to himself very soon...as well as all the other little ones that have suffered the same fate!
